A user can set their own Job Title in their preferences but only with permissions to the user table.
A super admin cannot do change a user’s job title, neither when logged in as Super Admin or when logged in as the user.
The problem is that I do not want all my users to have permissions to the user table since they also then get access to view a lot of configuration that is irrelevant or inapporpriate for general access.
If HubSpot wants to protect users editing Job Title with a permission, it should be a discreet permission and separate from being lumped in with access to the user table in general.
Current workaround is allowing users to have user table permissions, allowing them to update job title, and then manually revoking permissions. This is not scalable in an org as large as ours. We use job title not only in our quotes, but in other templates as well.
This seems like an easy UI improvement for HubSpot to make and one that will be increasingly relevant as larger/enterprise organizations make the move to the platform.
